About Ecodock

The aim of Ecodock is to gain and keep a leading international position in the field of demolition of dry-cargo ships, tankers and platforms, whereby ecologically sound working methods, favourable employment conditions and profitable exploitation form necessary conditions.

The strategy employed to realise this aim involves: Establishing a co-operation among various interested parties, who, each from their own expertise and background, want to commit themselves to the mission and the collaboration. In order to achieve the necessary support and to increase the possibility of succeeding, participants are required from a variety of backgrounds: industry, politics (regional, national and European), harbour authorities, interest groups and financiers.
